This is the Terms of Use Agreement (“Terms”) between Doclounge and you the user.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify or otherwise alter these terms and conditions and our Privacy Policy at any time. Such modifications shall become effective immediately upon the posting thereof. Please review this agreement and the Privacy Policy on a regular basis to keep yourself apprised of any changes. You can find links to the current Terms and the Privacy Policy in the footer of all pages.

The DocLounge website ("Site") is for information and education only, it is not intended to provide professional medical advice to individuals.  Authors are responsible for the contents of their posts.

The private, password protected area of this website is only available for qualified medical doctors and those enrolled in accredited medical training programs.  Acceptance of the Terms is a requirement of registration and following authentication you will be provided a User ID and login for your personal use only. You must not let your User ID and password be used by anyone else.

You understand that all postings, messages, text, files, images, photos, video, sounds, or other materials ("Content") posted on, transmitted through, or linked from the Site, are the sole responsibility of the person posting the Content. More specifically, you are entirely responsible for each item (“Item”) of Content that you post, email or otherwise make available via the Site.

You agree not to post, email, or otherwise make available Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, or is harmful to minors in any way. Users may flag any post in violation including possible infringements of copyright for the attention of the site Administrator.

You may remove or edit any Item of Content you have posted to your personal blog. To remove any Item of Content you have posted to a forum or elsewhere on the Site contact the site Administrator through the Contact form.

You acknowledge that DocLounge does not pre-screen or approve Content, but that DocLounge shall have the right (but not the obligation) in its sole discretion to refuse, delete or move any Content that is available via the Site, for violating the letter or spirit of the Terms or for any other reason.

You agree to indemnify and hold DocLounge, its officers, subsidiaries, affiliates, successors, assigns, directors, officers, agents, service providers, suppliers and employees, harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable attorney fees and court costs, made by any third party due to or arising out of Content you submit, post or make available through the Site, your use of the Site, your violation of the Terms, your breach of any of the representations and warranties herein, or your violation of any rights of another.

The DocLounge website has links to other websites that are not under its control. DocLounge is not responsible for the contents of any linked website, any link contained in a linked website, or any changes or updates to such websites. Doclounge is not responsible for the privacy practices of any linked website. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of every website that requests personal information from you.  The inclusion of any link does not mean that DocLounge endorses that website.
